the only bad thing about the car is when its really sunny, the dashboard and the top chrome part of the centre console(?) reflect onto the windscreen because its so big, making a little harder to see.

I know i'm a bit delayed in replying to this one. Personally I love it. I ordered mine in July 2006 and collected it on the 14th October 2006 when it was officially released.
Much better than the 'C' model in my view. I ordered my black SXi+ CDTi with Traction Control, (ESP+) Electronic Stability Programme Plus, Cruise Control, Electronic Climate Control, (AFL) Adaptive Forward Lighting and Graphical Computer. It's the second diesel Corsa i've had. The first I felt always needed a 6th gear and now i've got one with the new Corsa. My first Corsa was a 75PS 1.3, this one is 90PS 1.3 and I wish it had a 7th gear! Photos at http://newcorsa.fotopic.net/c1111312.html
It handles much better than my previous Corsa, especially around corners but that's probably down to ESP and TC. It took some getting used to driving it home as you feel further away from the front. It's a tad thirstier than my old one but my old one didn't have an onboard computer telling me about fuel consumption and how many miles I had left in the tank.
Agree totally on the VXR and wondered whether I should've waited before ordering mine The only thing is that is it aint a diesel though and I love their diesels. We also have a 1.9CTDi SRI Astra and when it's in sports mode it absolutely flies.
So I highly recommend the new Corsa.
