use synthetic oil for turbo diesels. you can get it reasonably cheap in halfords. it is probably the best oil on the market and is well worth the small extra cost.

Renault diesel cars have to have exactly the correct oil in the engine, this is very critical.

Not just any synthetic it has to be the correct viscosity.
