gastro speed camras
i was on my way home yesterday from work there is a road on my way i normally take its had 30mph speed camra signs for weeks but no speed camra so i was doing about 40mph but today i have seen a new gastro speed camra there but no white lines can i still get in trubble?

For Afy: A traditional Gatso camera relies on taking two pictures with a fixed time interval. These can then be used, by making reference to the white lines, to confirm the speed of the vehicle. So, without the white lines you should be safe. (Anyway, you've not mentioned seeing a double-flash in your mirror). Some newer cameras use different technologies but single-site cameras (rather than 'speed-averaging' ones) still normally require the white lines.
For Roaldo et al: Am I the only one who's noticed that Afy seems to be washing down his gastro meal with a pint of real ale (as recommended by 'camra')? ;-)
