I have a Alfa Romeo Spider that I have garaged in Spain. Due to family circumstances at the time, the car was not drained of oil etc before storage. I now wish to get the car back on the road -will this be a very expensive thing to do? Any idea how much damage I will have done to my favourite car. Any help regarding this problem would be much appreciated. Many thanks from a sports car fanatic female!

you probably have not done any damage.
give it a good service and get the brakes done and it should be fine.
alfa is a good hard wearing car.
Alfa Romeo a good hard wearing car? ha ha ha he hehe ho ho ha ha he ho.... They look good, but reliable? Not in my experience.
Sorry Sharrazan, to answer your question, probably none. You may need to boost the battery though and keep the revs low to give the internal parts time to get a good coating of oil, as the engine will be pretty dry after two years.
