hi, my galaxy diesel 115ps is taking forever to come up to normal temperature. I have to drive about 15 miles without the heater on before it gets to normal. if I turn the heater on, then it doesn't reach normal at all, which is causing poor fuel consumption.
any ideas?
thanks, alf.

sounds like you need to fit a new thermostat
are you losing water,a sign of a head gasket going is slow warming up and no heater, but it may be your thermostat.Run the car with no heater on at all,and see if it heats up.look for white smoke from the exhaust
