anyone know where the thermostat is?

follow the top hose from the radiator, to the thermostat housing, inside the housing is the thermostat!..

or you could buy a haynes manual..

the top hose doen't go to the thrmostat that i can see, i've already disconected it and there's no housing or thermostat but thanks anyway!

putting off getting a maual because i want rid of the car soon. much prefer working on bikes!

it's a 318 i i had to look at the log book for that, just goes to show how much cars interest me lol

you can try googling it, but in my experience the top hose on the radiator always leads to the thermostat.

the radiator has to send water to the engine, in doing this it has to measure the temperature of the water before it gets there, so it goes

the radiator hose, to the thermostat, to the engine
