Whilst on the subject of fog, while does everyone seem to switch their rear foglights on at the first sign of a mist, let alone fog, then leave them on for the next few days.
On the very few occasions that I have had mine on, I have switched them off when I seen a vehicle in my rear view mirrot, as they have achieved their purpose and I don't dazzle the driver behind me.
The same applies to front fog lights, although some people to have these on all the time. Fog lights should only be used if the visibility is below 100 metres.
The other thing that really annoys me is when I am behind someone in a queue of traffic or at lights and they sit there with their foot on the brake. Even worse when it's raining. Fine for a short while. Other than that what is wrong with their handbrake.

In foggy conditions there maybe justification for using the car in front as a beacon for without it you may be driving blind and to reduce your speed to meet the conditions may be more hazardous.
Why do some idiots rather than refuse to answer a question revert to bouncing the question back to you. I was the person asking the question!
