Digital switchover

this might sound stupid but do i still have to buy a digital telly, even if i have sky, to get ready for the digital switchover?

What you need is a device to pick up digital SIGNALS (which can then still be viewed on an analougue TV)
A Sky box is already digital, cable from Virgin is already digital, and a freeview box is digital.
As long as EVERY TV in the house gets it signal from one of those devices then the analogue switch off should not effect you.
(Note: An analogue tuner in a video player or DVD recorder will not work after the analogue switch off)
