I find out that on my Ford Fiesta 1.25 R reg. the rear right shock absorber is loose from the top. When the car is lift up I can move all the wheel up almost an inch and appear that shock absorber is not fixed on the top to the chassis. How can I fix this? Shock absorber don't look faulty in any other way.
Thank you!!!

then bolt it back on or take it to a garage to get it done before it causes any damage.
or it could be that the shocker has been leaking and hasno fluid left and therefore has no resistance left hence the reason you can lift the wheel.

How to bolt the top of the shock absorber to the chassis NORMANTHEDOG ??? I need more details. And david1702198 no it hasnt been any leaking the shock absorber is ok just doesnt appear to be fixed on top.
Thanks any way
if i remember right the top of the shocker should be athreaded stud which once a rubber bush is placed on would push up through a hole in the rear wing and then anothr rubber bush and washer placed on and then a nut which would be tightened to secure it, lift the interior cover in the boot to see if it is insecure or not.
