Your photocard driving licence is valid for a maximum of 10 years, to ensure that your photograph is kept up to date with your true likeness. The DVLA will issue you with a reminder when your photocard driving licence is due for renewal. Has anyone done this, if so how much did it cost you. Mine is due for renewal in September 2008

Photocard licences were first issued in July of 1998 so I would expect the first renewal notices to appear over the next few months.
