Brakes not working
I have an old (H reg) T25 VW Camper Van. It has just had a full service, but when I took it out for the weekend, it was running fine until after about 60mins running the brakes suddenly went! (Much to my horror)- they went very soft and spongy, and only came back if I pumped the pedal.
On the trip back (hopefully to the garage) it was fine but I am very worried.
Any ideas? (My husband it not at all mechanical and he just wants to sell her, but I can't imagine it!)
Thank you.

Dont let them try it on!!!!/
If it is noy loosing brake fluid then it could be the master cylinder seals need replacing. My dad's metro did the same on long runs, OK for a time after failing even with a split braking system. Only other thing could be water in the brake fluid causing vapourising on heavy braking, but this is very much overstated and unlikly.
