swapped cars

hi yesterday i swapped a corsa with my bmw with a chap not far from me we both viewed each others cars happy with them and signed a reciept sayin we swapped. today he calls me saying he wants to swap back as car isnt as i stated but we did look over i told him prior to viewings that mileage in ad was a typing error. and also about small rip in seat and some paint work needed on door. but me being generous i offered to pay towards paintwork. Then the chap starts to turn nasty leaving voicemails threatening to come my house wiv mates i contacted police but now he says he gonna take me too court can he do this were do i stand he may damaged my old car my beat me up its very worrying and distressing....

Well if you both signed a paper saying you swapped then that basically states that you both accepted it as sold as seen sort of thing. He can try and take you to court but they will go in your favour as he had the chance to closely inspect the car. As for the phone calls etc just keep voicemails and txts for proof of harrasment and let him know that you are doing so. Hopefully this will keep him off your back but theres no telling with some people. At least if he knows you are keeping proof of everything it may make him think twice.
