Vehicle rental

I am going to Brownsville next February with my disabled daughter who has to remain in her wheelchair for traveling in a car. Can anyone please tell me if they know of any companies who hire out suitable adapted vehicles, ? One compnay has quoted me almost �3000 for the 2 weeks we will be over as they have to deliver the vehicle from Houston to Brownsville. Which I think is a bit much for 2 weeks.

might be cheaper (if you have the funds) to buy something then sell it again when you have finished :)
