Photocopy your licence before sending it for renewal as proof of your driving qualifications as DVLA have returned the new ones with some driving entitlements missing, many drivers and riders have had to retake their driving tests !

Moved last year and sent old greenie in for address change and update to photo licence.. No fee charged.

Old style paper licence was good for hiring cars in Europe last year.

Good advice there from toureman I have just received my licence back as I am approaching 70 quite a few categories are missing from it, Luckily I kept my old green one, as it was fairly tatty. I have got in touch with DVLA, and am waiting for reply at this point in time,
So as TOUREMAN says photo copy it before sending it away.
