The catalytic convertor light as come on what can have caused it.

Could there be a problem with the Cat.? Best but certainly not cheapest,...a trip to your local GM Garage.

As allan says, take it to a GM garage, my Corsa airbag light started flashing, but it was nothing to do with the bags, the alternator  had developed a fault, without the right diagnostic equipment I could have spent a lot of money on the wrong parts.
