Tom Tom 500

My Tom Tom is now a few years old and although it is working well, I have a problem with it falling off the window screen or the dashboard.

I have checked that the windscreen is grease free etc - any idea what I can do?

Don't want to make something permament as I share the car.

is it the suction type mount, it may need replacing or get a velcro kit maybe

The latest Tom Toms are more secure and after wetting and attaching to the screen by the knurled wheel they stay pretty firm. You can also place them just above the dash so they don't have far to fall if they do come off. On my previous sat nav I used a dash base fitting to attach to the dashboard and this worked well.
