I had doubts as I have a vague memory off someone putting their car into their childs name (who was about 5) and collecting parking tickets all over the place. No one could take the owner to court for unpaid fines because he was underage.
anyone of ny age can own a car, age is only a legal requirement when it comes to driving the car...
nice idea sue but if it was that easy every one would be at it..

Putting into the name off a child was not my idea. I read years ago of this case and that is when I think th elaw was changed
There is no age limit to owning a car similarly motoring offences can also be committed at any age. Mythbusters at your service.
If you put the car in your 17 year old daughters name and you get say a speeding fine then your daughter will get three points as she has to either name you as the driver or take the points herself and even worse if she doesn't have a license and takes the points then they will be on there when she does get a license....
