I have a 2006 ford focus, today the airbag warning light has come on permanently, has anyone any ideas as to what I could try in order to fix it. The car hasn't had an accident or anything the light has just come on for no reason?
I thought this had been resolved but its back on again today, any other ideas please?

Try the connecting plugs beneath you front seats.

These connectors are used to connect the pre-tensioners built into the seatbelt buckles. Often, a core can be damaged or the whole cable ripped by getting tangled in the seat frame. I repaired one a few weeks ago that was eaten by a Jack Russell!
Owner thought it was happy sleeping with head under seat!
If it is repaired, make sure new cables are soldered and heatshrinked and properly taped up.
You should pull SRS fuse and ignition should be off when working on this system.
take the bulb out of the dash.
I asked about this quite a while ago, my airbag light flashes alot and sometinmed it doesn't, I just ignore it now
:( I was adviswed to take it to a test place to hook up to a computer but everytime i remember tyo go they are too busy
