ford focus lx radio code

help!! ive taken my radio out today and i forgot about the code so nothing works. anyone got the code for 1999 ford focus LX? ive looked in handbook but theres nothing there.

every car has a different code im afraid. do you have a little black canvas folder that came with your car, with your handbook , service book etc, there shuld be a little card in with that. failing that, go to a ford garage, i think they have all codes on a database.

Somebody mentioned a couple of weeks ago that it was the last 4 numbers of your VIN (perhaps reversed). Don't know how true this is, but worth a try

Its NOT connected to the VIN number, if it was the last four digits it wouldnt be difficult to find seeing as the the vin is displayed in the screen..rather defeats the object of being a secure radio/cd
, dont be tempted to try various combinations as you only get so many attempts before it locks the unit out, Ford dealers will do it for a fee...
