Computer Download Monitor

Can anyone recommend a reliable FREE download monitor I could use as I only have a 2GB limit.
II have Broadband Choices monitor but it seems rather unreliable. Normallly I am a a light user but today have tried to catch up on several programmes missed yesterday including trying to download Michael Portillo's railway programme from last night and being a wrinklie got into all sorts of trouble and according to my ISP broadband my uasge was shooting up but the Choices monitor was showing no increase. Thanks for any help in advance.

I presume this is an online monitoring program that lets you know your broadband usage.

If so, you need to reset it to check every 5 minutes or so. Your usage can only be updated when the program goes online to check with your ISP.
