Can you take your driving test in a "new" Mini? I heard you couldn't for visibility reasons or a Smart or a Clio. I'm probably wrong. I usually am. Cheers Beauty!
no reason why you cant, if it was a serious visibility issue that prevented you taking a test , it shouldnt be on the road...Instructors often favour particular cars for ease of driving in particular reversing etc.which help to get you through the test, maybe Minis dont fall in this catagory
There are some vehicles you cannot take a test in, and I feel I remember hearing it was on visibility for the tester reasons. However I can't currently find a link to confirm this.
However here is a list of those that cannot be used unless you can prove that recall work has been carried out.
Seems to be a strange reason- isn't part of a driving test to find out if the driver can cope with unusual events on the road ?
Surely these cars have more visibility than vans, or have these been banned as well ?
What's next "sorry your test has been cancelled, it might rain "
