I'm restoring a rare LWB 1992 Suzuki Samurai SJ413 jeep and want to do it properly (not for offroading!).
Most new spare body parts for this model have been discontinued. I'm particularly after new front wings.
Can anyone give me some ideas - I bet there are a few tucked away somewhere ... it's just finding them!

Is this chap worth talking to?

in any case I would make Ebay my friend and try owners clubs if there are any too - classic car people often have MOT failures that are being broken all the time.

There are aklso breakers networks like this

Snap! I literally picked up a brand new wing and a patched wing last night from a guy in Hants after months of searching.

Kap Sports and the Suzuki guy on ebay retail new ones at £125 each! Fortunately paid just £45 for the pair that had been primed and ready to fit.... I have the metallic blue version which is pretty immaculate except for front wings and a bit of patching on the sills and one small repair plate under the body. Let me know how you get on. I have the sales brochure which I can scan and forward if you are interested (free of charge of course!).

I really appreciate the replies.

Ebay does indeed show a guy selling new wings for £125 but they don't actually exist - I even got as far as making the Paypal payment and started stripping back my old Suzi. Only then did the guy say that the wings are unattainable but the listing will continue! He is, however, trying to find a factory which still presses them out. There is, apparently, one in Sweden .... but I'd have to order loads of pairs to justify their tooling up to make an economic production run. Maybe the solution is to commission an economic production run myself and offer them for sale??? D'you think there's a demand?

Suzuki UK couldn't help and breakers either have wings as bad as the ones I have or nothing. You can probably tell I'm pretty desparate!

Ian413's reply is great cos it gives me hope. Wish I could find a pair like yours. I'd gladly pay more £250 for a pair!!! My Suzi has never been offroaded and only has 30000 on the clock. Water sat in the front wing void and really that's the only problem!
Try the KAP Suzuki guys who appear to be still providing the wings....

As the LWB Samurai style 413 was/is also made in India as a Suzuki Maruti Gypsy (identical) I did think about trying to find out if there was a source of wings from there. Must be some Indian entreprenuer out there willing to supply us in Europe.

Thank you one and all! I finally got two brand new wings from www.beaverbodypanels.co.uk in Barnsley. Made by Subaru in, I think , Sweden!!!!
I'm a very happy chappy!
