Can anyone recommend a site that will give you a ball park figure without wanting all the ins and outs. I mean typing in minimal info without all the unnecessary perihperal stuff that they use to junk mail you later.

Not really as most need your details to even guess at a figure. But www.confused.com means you only have to put in detalis once to check quite a few companines - you'll be amazed at the variation in price...

www.moneysupermarket.com You can compare 1000's of prices of things like insurance & mortages by inputting a few details. I have often used this site & never been bothered by e-mails/junk mail chasing me up after.
