Citroen c4 radiator change

Citroen Technitions everywhere!!

How difficult is it to change and vent a C4 radiator,i'm a bit worried about the venting of it ,because of what i've read.No Haynes manual exists for this car.

Any help would be great.

Try the C4 owners site they appear to have info about venting the radiator but you have to sign up to the site to download it. Probably people will be able to answer any other queries you have, as it appears that radiator failure is common on these models.

Venting it?
lol ... Just wait til engine cool, and disconnect a small top hose first. Something to drain ito underneath and take a lower hose off .. there may even be a plastic drain tap on rad fitting.

With the Citroen C4 i dont think it has a vent plug ,apart from one that i believe is on the engine block somewhere ??. I'm lead to believe that the venting of this system is a real pain and not just your normal venting of a rad ,which i've done on fords,vauxhalls etc many times.
