windscreen wipers renault megane

hi windscreen wipers on my sons car wont work , in the fuse box diagram it shows where the fuse should be , but no fuse in box in place where it says ,have tried all other fuses they all work ,anyone got any suggestions where the fuse might be located thanks

Has he turned the wipers on whilst they were frozen to the windscreen?
If he has he may have burnt out the wiper motor.
My son did this last year and we had to have a trip to the scrapyard.
