Because of lots of things we are going to be selling our car.
One of the reasons is the hubby can't really drive without pain. Car is in excellent condition and I think a dealer would be interested, especially as it has really low mileage.
I don't drive and rather than schlep round, does anyone have access to the trade book? I think it is called Glass?
Car is a Vauxhall Corsa 06 with less than 14000 miles on clock.
You'll only get 'bottom book' price from a dealer. Much better to sell privately. Have a look on Autotrader website for similar vehicles. This will let you know it's approximate value.
Yes, count-a-strong is right. You would get a sale at once from a dealer or an auction, but that would be the very bottom price, I am sorry to say. You also did not say where in the country you were, so knowing that would help. If you get either Glass's or Parker's price guide this would help, but yours is low mileage, so you should get more than book price for this. Go on to the Autotrader site, and have a look there, and that should help a bit.
Select your car from the list here at Parkers http://www.parkers.co...x?model=1143&plate=81
You will get a valuation as if it had 40,000 miles on the clock,
You will have to pay to get a more accurate valuation.

Someone on this site went to we buy any car. They were given a price but when they drove there the price was dropped by two thousand pound. Please be careful.
Razza is right on this one. They do NOT offer the best price, and sure you could get more elsewhere. I was only offered 50 pounds for my Astra and also my Cavalier, and they are worth more than that. What price were you offered, if you do not mind our asking?
you don't mention if its petrol or diesel & engine size 3/5 door auto or manual,
so go to autotrader site & look at same spec & private sellers to get an idea of value,
that is the best first step.
PLEASE BE WARNED DO NOT GO TO WE "SCREW YOU OVER" ANY CAR. I have had a lot of dealings with this company and they are daylight cowboys. The "internet" price is never anywhere near what they will give you. PLEASE be careful
we by a car will give a good price until they come to view the car. If it's as good as you say try ebaying it - plenty of good sites out there for valueling cars - but ultimately it's worth what someone will pay for it? Private sale will always get you a better price
