It will depend on what actyual damage occurred. But as a guide, when the belt went on my old 216rover about 4 years ago it cost just under �600 to rebuild the engine.

If its an 8valve 1.2 clio its very possible it will of bent all the valves.

I would advise fitting a t/belt kit as oppose  to just a belt,you should get it done at a nondealership garage for about 400 inc parts and labour
