In queuing traffic, you should keep the crossing clear.

Brilliant mamya, its happening quite a lot at a certain crossing, I actually confronted one who just laughed. Can I legally take a pic of a car registration?
Question Author
Thanks Baldric.
If someone stops on the crossing I always walk around the front of it so that they can't set off.

You are legally allowed to take a picture of anything you want if you are in a public place in the UK.
I see more and more people parking on the zig zags to go to the nearby shops. Often hazard flashers are some sort of justification.

It warrants 3 points on the licence, and I wish plod would zap them.
I am sure there are as you aren't allowed to park on the zig zag lines of a Crossing. That is illegal and should be challenged if you inform the authorities. That's if they bother with that now!
Also someone should tell the cyclists and motorcyclists that the rule about not passing the lead vehicle at a crossing applies to them too.
Question Author
that's great, thanks everyone! I get really annoyed with those who think they have the right to pull up on the crossing.
Question Author
Never having a car, who would I report it to?
It sometimes happens if moving traffic stops unexpectedly. No big deal surely.
Yes it is OG.

The crossing should be treated like a yellow box, only entered if you can clear it.

Stopping on the crossing puts the pedestrians at risk.

No plod around these day's, Hopkirk.
I've never felt at risk. Fuss for nothing.
I agree OG.
