If I drive through a camera in a 30 zone at 30mph, and a cyclist undertakes me at 35-40 in the bus lane, is the camera likely to be triggered by the cyclist? If so...

When the camera is triggered, two photos are taken.

One showing the vehicle entering the zone, the other showing the vehicle exiting the zone. The times are stamped on each photo.

Precise calculations are used to determine which vehicle is travelling at what speed.

Cyclists cannot be prosecuted for speeding because the offence applies to motorised vehicles.

They use the marks on the road to verify the speed anyway.

It is not ilegal to ride a bike through a 30 zone NO you can ride a bike anyware except a motorway.

And a bike should not set of a speed camera as it's to thin to be detected.

And you can ride a bike in a bus lane

Get your facts right I ride a bike through a 30 zone evey nearly every road in my city is 30mph and the law says you have to ride on the road so where do I ride
