I am currently working overseas, on a shift pattern of 2 months on, 1 month off. I sold my car before leaving the UK, as I did'n want the cost / hassle of keeping the vehicle insured on my drive, declaring a SORN for 2 months and then re taxing it, and also having someone watch over it with regards to tyres / engine start, blah blah blah.
Does anyone know where I could hire / lease a vehicle cheaply, on a long rental or short term monthly lease, with no hassle, while I am in the UK ?
