Female Singer
Yo, people. I need a little help here. I'm deseprately trying to find a certain female singer whose name I cannot remember, neither do I know the name of any of her songs anymore. I swear I've googled for any combination of tags I could think of and went through many 90s song lists on youtube with NO damn result (perhaps I'm just stupid and overlooked or didn't recognize it). Anyway here it goes:
It was a brunette with short to mid-length hair, pale, pretty gothic who reached her peak during the 90s. I don't know what exact music style it was (pop?) cuz I'm completely illiterate about music in general but it had such a dramatic impression, sounded almost choral-like, similar to ERA musical project. Anyway, don't take all the info for granted because I'm not even sure about that. All I'm positive about was the strong "choral" impression (even when singing solo). Thanks for any info you can give me.

3dfx has already tried Google. It can't possiblly be Enya as she appeared on a list when I Googled top female singers of last 30 years.
It's a shame as the description fitted her well and was my first thought too.
If it was Enya maybe your search should have started with the 80s as that's when she had her biggest hits I recall. In 1982 she was in Clannad when they released Harry's Game. Orinoco flow is probbably her best known song- that was mid-to late 80s I recall
