DVD-R speeds
2 Answers
I bought some tdk x8 speed 4.7gb dvd-r discs and some tdk x16 speed 4.7gb dvd-r
I have found the x8 speed ones much faster and more reliable, Wouldnt you expect it to be the other way round?
Why are the x8 speed faster, surely they should be half the speed?

Otherwise, in the final option screen of your DVD Authoring software, you should be able to change/choose the write speed, so you could drop it down to 8x.
Otherwise, I would definately expect the 16x DVDs to write faster, assuming your writer supports it.
