copying karaoke cd's
4 Answers
If I copy a karaoke cd&g disc will the lyrics that appear on the screen copy as well as the music?
I'm fed up of having to skip through the bad songs to get to the ones we want (especially after a few southern comforts!!) so I thought I'd make myself a disc with all our favourites on.
Thanks

Then you need some Karaoke editing (or at least ripping and burning) software.
These people can supply all the software you need:

Thank you for your reply, yes I'm wanting to copy one or 2 tracks from the each of the cd's I have and put them all onto one disc.
Do you know if the software is easy to use and more importantly if it works if I buy it? ....also creating my own karaoke from MP3 files and lyrics looks interesting - do you happen to know anything about how to do that?

I use some of the software from that site for creating Karaoke disks (there's not a lot of Greek karoake available commercially!)
All their software seems pretty good, and is not that difficult to use. I've not tried working with MP3s.
BTW those burners that can write CD+G don't always mention it in the spec. I have an LG DVD RAM drive which works fine.
