Ermmmmm, a loooooooooong time ago. Think it was Texas the best of?
I just tend to download them now, and being an old duffer they are usually oldies, the last chart one I downloaded was the one by Mika, what? I like it ok? LOL
But only because I couldn't find a good download file. I'm not in the habit of paying for music that is readily available free!!
In know, I'm bad!!!
but I've downloaded over 30 gig of music, I don't really feel guilty because 99% of that music I would never have bought so no one has lost out on a sale.
Last week I bought a new copy of Brahms Violin Concerto, Nigel Kennedy with Klaus Tennstedt and the LPO, the finest ever rendition of the most beautiful violin concerto ever written. You can just see the Austrian mountains, and feel the tearing heartstrings of forlorn love.
i recently replaced my tape of Portishead - Dummy with the cd having rediscovered it after a long time. The one before that was an Earth, wind & Fire's greatest hits, I think I'm trying to relive my teens!.
The last time I bought a CD was in January for my husband's birthday - it was called Grace Kelly by Mika!
I'd tried & tried to downlaod it from Limewire to put on his MP3 player (as you can see from the follwing link), but it wasn't having any of it , as it was relatively new then! Like BOO, I have successfully dowloaded loads from there before & after though.
