Ordinary incandescent lamps are much warmer or yellower at less than 3000 degrees. At night your eyes would be adapted to the prevailing incandescent street lamps or automobile headlamps. Thus, the interior of a house with a TV on iz illuminated with a light bluer than that to which your eyes are adapted. The house residents have their eyes adapted to the TV set color and do not see it as blue.
