Manchester Shopping

I am going to Manchester Apollo for a gig in a couple of weeks and want to do some shopiing before but obviously dont want shopping bags with me whilst in the gig. Is there anywhere that has lockers or something similar that you can rent - like at the train station? I know some train stations have them but have never been to Manchester before.

I think they have lockers at Piccadilly station in manchester. phone network rail on 0845 0000033 to check.

Maybe there's a cloakroom at the Apollo where you can leave the bags.

PhilandLil's answer points you towards a possible storage point but you should note that, due to security considerations, you won't find any lockers at railway stations. Left luggage facilities have to be staffed and have efficient search and/or x-ray facilities. The left luggage office at Manchester Piccadilly is run by Excess Baggage and is located on Platform 10. The facility is available to 2300 daily.
