The first episode is on BBC4 tomorrow night at 22:50 - it seems to be a TOTP themed night. The regular repeats of old episodes are on Thursdays at 19:30, although next week's is a repeat of tomorrow's episode. They are starting from 1976 because their archive is complete from then onwards apparently.

One of the papers mentioned that they had enough archive episodes to run them until the year 2040!
And Dave Lee Travis, Simon Dee, Alan Freeman, and Tony Blackburn. They would be enough to put some viewers off

Thanks for that northboy I won't miss it now
a grand old man Mark
all of those DJs who started it all way back then
Legs & Co replaced Pan's People in 1976, IIRC.

Wasn't it Ruby Flipper before them...?
Thing is, nostalgia ain't what it used to be. And I gotta be honest, I like the facts and titbits you get with TOTP2
Yes it was Mark
Not just the seatbelt that's clunking and clicking these days I'm sure.
Even in those days I used to flick channels away from TOTP when the rubbish songs were on, then forget to flick back again.
pans people are on it tomorrow night @ 10.50
Yeah, you watch them and realise how old they are now though.......
Even more repeats?

I used to buy a lyrics msg called something like disc 45 and sing along to the songs
It was called Disco 45, I have loads that I collected over the years.
It was something 45, but not Hits 45.

I won't be able to sleep now until I remember
Disco 45 - are you sure?
and also Record Song Book, of which I have loads!

Oh I'm going to look on eBay
Back soon
Yes. Google it.
We used to be sad didn't we, reading song lyrics from a magazine.

I even used to carry a small MW radio to school, just so I could hear the chart when it was first read out - to see if Mud were number one that week.
