Yes she's odd, but so what? It's not harming anyone and I think it just adds to her quirky charm. And refreshingly the girl can sing live, and sing well.

The salacious intrusive press will print photos of her any time she steps out and of course because shes so outrageous, Stefani Germanotta probably walks around completley unnoticed.

I don't 'hate' anyone - especially not pop stars.

I think LGG has a very strong visual image - essential in these days of mas-media and cross-media marketing - and this contributes directly to her success, which is not to belittle her talent as a musician.

Her music does not appeal to me - which is fine, I am not part of her demographic.

As I write that phrase, I am mindful of how times have changed - that I use and understand that term, and apply it in terms of a pop star - it wasn't like that in my day ...

Although im not a huge fan of her pop releases so far, i did watch her live at the Radio 1 weekend and her Monster tour, shown on Sky last weekend. I have to say that when she sits down at a piano and sings she is rather excellent and i was really surprised at just how good and strong her voice is, far better than Madonna's i think. I actually like her a lot more now and she is much more than just a pop princess, she comes from a jazz/blues background apparantly which also surprised me!
Im a fan now!

A true talent who can sing!! Which makes for a refreshing change. I love her music.And the new album is fantastic!
