Check the obvious first: it might just be a fuse fault. Googling suggests that it might be fuse number 59 (7.5 Amp) in the panel which is located in the passenger(?) footwell. However fuse numbers 60 and 61 are also mentioned on some websites. (If you've got the handbook it should show you which fuse to check, and its location).

However googling also shows this:

thanks ill ask the fella as im a girl an what i just wrote above is the limit of my knowledge of cars lmao x
It might also be so simple as the main plug carrying the wiring to the instrument cluster has come loose Mammakazza. The plug snaps into a socket on or under the rear of the cluster and it should be held tight by clips. If it's come loose the various poor connections might result in what you describe.

There is often a similar plug carrying the main electrical wiring from the fusebox. I had strange electrical gremlins similar to yours with a Polo once and that was caused by the fusebox plug being loose.

I hope it's a simple fix like that for you. Good luck.
I can change a tyre if that's any use?
I've just remembered a car I had many years ago that also had various instrument and warning lights fail. When I removed the instrument cluster I found water on the printed circuit on the rear of the cluster which could only have come from the windscreen seal. I smeared sealant around the inside of the seal and there were no more problems.
My wires corsa had the same problem when we came home from holiday. Turned out to be a fuse to the dash
I used to look after that wiring for FMC .. and no way will/can it come loose.
It won't be that. Check fuses .. If not those, it will be the instrument cluster.
It's a known fault on these cars.

Correct ... and there are around 16 different clusters .. so get the right one ..
If you get a 2nd hand one .. check mileage shown.
