It's just all hit me at once and with Christmas coming up it hasn't helped that that is all people are talking about when I'm dreading it. I'm sorry if I've made anyone feel awkward tonight, it wasn't my intention, just get a bit fed up of the bickering and nitpicking when I've only popped on for a laugh or a chat. xx
I know what you mean Den. Apart from the first year we had the pub, because we only took over in the October and didn't get time to organise anything, Gary and I were usually working and enjoyed it more that way, entertaining other people. It's only an excuse to drink more and eat more and frankly, who needs an excuse?
Gary grew up in a pub Bobbi. His mum had the same pub in London for 26 years then Gary went into club management. I'd worked in pubs since I was 18 and we got our own pub a year after we got married and had that for 6 years then went into club management again. It's probably why it drives me mad being at home most of the time now I am pretty much housebound after being surrounded by people so much.
