It's up to her what she does with it. Besides, even if this girl, whoever she is (I don't wathc X-factor), does the song justice, alot of die hard Nirvanna fans will dislike it on priniciple that she did it.
Leona Lewis murdered a Snow Patrol Song, another bird from X-Factor killed that song Halleluja.... I'd have gone off that Snow Patrol song but the latter I loved and I just make sure I never have to hear the wailing woman singing it, it's really not that hard.
A truly good song can stand being devastated by another artist as it shows the artist as not being good enough to do the song justice and not the other way round. The test for an artist is if they can make a truly sh!t song sound good!
