I absolutely hate it when my favourite songs are covered, you might understand my horror when I switched on Sky News this morning to some young fella singing U2's With Or Without You! Argh, anyone else hear it?

I don't tend to like them as such - but there's a series of albums called Musique de Paris Derniere which are kind of jazzy chill out cover versions and they are fab! :)

Assuming you mean "Tom Traubert's Blues", I agree it's dreadful.

Had forgotten about his cover of Hurt. Now that is a classic example of a cover being better than the original.
