What is your favourite day of the week?

I know for most working people Friday would be your favourite, end of the week & all that but what about you who have retired what day is your favourite? Mine is Monday - Slob out day for me, no housework, watch TV or DVDs all day soaps in the evening & we have 'Pie Mash' for lunch, Roll on monday.
So what is your fav & why?

being retired now jemisa, every day is pretty much the same. But i wouldnt mind a regular pie and mash day! Mm scrumptious x

Any day of the week I'm not at work (this week is Friday and Sunday, although I feel that the shop I work in only opens for 6 hours on a Sunday, it's a bit of a con to call it a day off) is good for me.

I absolutely love a Sunday if I have the Monday booked off. Its like you get to reclaim Sunday for yourself instead of making it a 'getting ready for work' day. And I guess that cos I dont book that many Mondays off they are extra special. Other than that I guess Saturday is my fave, although I like Friday evening more (but not the day bit at work).

I'm not retired, but thought I'd answer anyway... :-)

Sunday is my favorite day. Saturday is a full cleaning day for me (just finished!)
and then I spend all of Sunday with the kids. Whether it's taking them out somewhere, or spending all day in our pj's and watching films.
It's always just a nice, relaxed day.

Saturday is my favourite day. I spend it with OH, we usually go out in the morning and find somewhere for lunch (not posh lunch, just cafe lunch) and a walk by the sea. Then we pick up some shopping on the way home. In the summer its sometings a racing day or a day out while the tourists are busy arriving or departing and we have the places to ourselves.

Sunday is the best day of the week for me, as it is a day of rest.

Not got a fave day to be honest. Tend to work a lot of Saturdays and a few Sundays. I hate Sundays though, really depressing day and I hate the Sunday opening hours!
Lol I like to have a takeaway rather than pie and mash as a fave!

I like sundays esp if i have sundays off. I tend to have to get up early on a sat to get the shopping out the way and then the chores but usually by sat afternoon im free to do whztever, then sunday to slob, watch dvds and read
