My colleague came round this morning, and after nosing through my ipod, said I have "really awful taste in music" :-/
It's not the first time someone's said that to me, but I refuse to give up my love of the 80's, and 90's boybands. I'll never be "cool" when it comes to music, but hey ho.

Do you have guilty pleasures when it comes to music and if so, what?

andy stewart !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)
Oh goodness Bluestone, I have some weird and wacky songs on my I pod, John Rowles...Gerry Monroe.....Cilla.......Meatloaf....Mantovani.
..Grieg......John
Miles....I like most music, grew up with country and western. When I go walking I have up beat songs by Madonna, The Jacksons , Outkast. I like most music. !
That's ridiculous! Anyone who loves Frank Sinatra and The Bee Gees is OK in my book... :-)
The Moulin Rouge soundtrack.
Elvis, Roy Orbison, Gene Pitney, Garth Brooks etc etc. Just love a nice mixture as long as it doesn't include Robbie Williams!!
I think I may have 'accidentally' let a few One Direction songs slip into my favourites play list. :o/
Jeffrey Osborne :-)
I've said it before but I'll say it again: there is no "good" music and no "bad" music. There are only two types of music: music you like and music you don't like, and that's different for everyone...
MR, ' a wee black book ' ?
I quite like some JLS songs, and The Wanted. I love a bit of Dolly and Kenny Rogers, and Johnny Cash...I could continue :-)

Cilla?!
Now I don't feel so bad :P

Had to Google Andy Stewart. Donald where's your troosers?? lol

Mark, yes, I do have some excellent artists on there... but the "bad" do probably outweigh the good'uns.

EB, Arghhh! I hate, hate, hate musicals... thought could probably have my arm twisted after a few gins! ;)

Maggie, that's quite a cool list, I think. Well, apart from Garth, obviously :D
I don't like musicals either normally but the songs on Moulin Rouge are different. They're all cover versions of famous songs that have been slightly adapted.
Oooh maggie you would hate my ipod music! Robbie features a lot! ;) x

My ipod is such a mish-mash. I have Robbie, Take that, JLS, Girls Aloud, Beyonce, Lady Gaga, Oasis, Bee Gees, Muse, Foo Fighters, Kings of Leon, Tinie Tempah, Michael Jackson, Rolling Stones, Beatles, Bob Marley etc

I think the likes of One Direction and The Wanted are acceptable. Probably because they're current. People forget about the older boybands, but they'll always live on in my house!

Lol @ Jeffrey Osborne :-) He's not a guilty pleasure... Dolly and Kenny definitely are though :P

MR, lol. I hope SirAlec doesn't read that. She'll be quick to comment, if she does. Bless her :-)

Ooh, I'll have to have a look at that then, EB :-)

V&C, that's quite a good list, I reckon.... minus Robbie ;)
> but the "bad" do probably outweigh the good'uns

There's no such thing as bad and good. If you like it, you like it!

For my part, I love The Osmonds and think they are massively more talented than their "70s boy band" image" would suggest.
Oi! Not you too! lol ;) x
I have the soundtrack to Joseph and his amazing colour coat... Jason Donavon version... i love it and know the words all the way thru!
Question Author
I don't really know any Osmond songs, I don't think. Puppy Love? Is that one of theirs? If so, yep, I'd keep that one to yourself... ;) lol

V&C, it's more the man himself, as opposed to his music. He just irritates me :))
Vodka - don't mention MJ while Mick Talbot is about ;-)
