Well I started piano lessons (at the beginning of the year) maybe had about 7 so far - the term is £40 - paid the first £40 altho there were only about 3 before term ended - that was Easter - paid next £40 after Easter went back once - and tonight is another lesson. However I am finding whilst there are about 7 or 8 in the class by the time the teacher is with one pupil (elderly) perhaps for about 10-15 mins by the time she comes to me I would get about 10 minutes too. To me it is too rushed but - oh by the way I forgot to say £40 for an hour and half but in actual fact is about 10-15 minutes.
This is a wee school whereby if I were go to private tuition it is £14 per half hour. Thanks for any replies.

The lesson itself should only be the tip of the iceberg in the learning process. The real work is done at home ...... practice, and lots of it.
I've always found that personal contact is largely for setting up next week's work, and re-visiting last week's, to see if you're progressing.
Oh - and having some fun as well :o)
£40 per term is quite a bargain to get you started. You can always go "private" later if you progress.
