Is that a total eclipse of her part then? I don`t know why we have anything to do with Eurovison TBH. The UK has the most innovative music industry in the world - we don`t need that rubbish.
Yep, the UK gets a bye into the final every year. The fact that Bonne wasn't actually performing might have been a bit of a clue.
I love Eurovision. Complaining that it isn't musically very good is completely missing the point. And where else would you get to hear a song called "Feed me your burger" by Margaret Love (although I think I may have got that slightly wrong :-) )
this year the song was already going to be released on her latest album and the beeb approached her to let them have the song for the contest. that means it does seem to have come from a source with integrity and not the randomness of a bbc phone in vote
Seriously, the hand picking of a song and artiste has saved the beeb and licence fee payers a great deal of money!
We had to stop paying for the vote in this country to pick our best song, when Europe would never vote for us ever ever ever! lol
Hope they like Bonnie, but they hate us, so let's see..............hope they like Bonnie, I think she's great.
"Hand picking" of the song and artiste has been done for a few years now hasn't it? They had to do something. The problem wasn't "Europe hating us" it was the fact that the UK entry was being chosen by a Saturday night X factor-style audience which is not what's needed for Eurovision.
No one's mentioned the "Balkan block vote" yet. Oh, I just did ...
