Is it the trailer that mentions the contest between Chris Froome and Contador, then goes on to mention climbing the Alp D'Huez twice? I know I've seen it, but it's catching it again to listen to the music - I've got two pieces in my head (Although both could be wrong)...
Days Are forgotten by Kasabian and Immigrant Song by Led Zep (I think the reason for this is the sort-of screaming that is in both songs). I'm probably wrong with both, but I'll keep having a look for the ad, just in case.
Its featured again in commercial break 45mins into Long Lost Family ITV Monday 24th. Voice over ad is "last July Britain found a national hero. This year will another stand up". Ad features Bradley Wiggins, and mentions Mark Cavendish.
Can't watch the ads on the ITV player, bob. I've seen the advert, on a video on YouTube - someone has recorded the adverts on their phone, but the sound isn't loud enough to Shazam it. I'm not going to give up on this (Unless someone else can answer it in the meantime). It's just a case of finding the full epsode to watch (And hoping the adverts are included).
To anyone else looking in on this thread, this is the video I mentioned in my previous post. Have a look from 5:12 onwards, for the song malagabob is on about...
Is the right answer. Well done, fiftyplus. Looks like I waws the only one reading the thread. ITV graciously played the ad twice this morning, so I Sky +'ed it and used Shazam to identify it, only to discover that you'd beaten me to the punch.
This was the (Only Tour De France) advert that I had seen (That didn't feature Kasabian or Led Zep...)
