Mm Links Results December 2013 Week 2

For the third time, 'Lady Eleanor' (aka elliemay1) has challenged you all to guess her links and the game has now closed so I can reveal that her chosen links were:

This week it really was a game of two halves.
On Saturday morning the home team had the upper hand scoring two of the links.
In the afternoon, it was the away team that excelled with the Ont-Ices claiming just under a third of all points awarded.

Well, if two people between them can claim just under a third of the points, it must have been a low-scoring week. Not that the links were particularly obscure, but there were just so many possibilities available.

First blood was claimed by BigMac with PAPER ROSES (Does that mean he's a Donny Osmond fan?) for 2 points.

In the same minute of play (9:02) Aquagility was ready to hit the hay with a BEDTIME STORY. (Note to self: Find out if I will be feeling tired at 9:02 when I get to his age?)

In the afternoon, at a quarter to two, Handbaglady felt a little hypoglycaemic and discovered she had a SWEET TOOTH For her 2 points.

But the star turn was from the Ont-Ices when at twenty to four, Mrs O claimed the final 2 points for FEATURE FILM along with a single for 'Sweet Tooth'., while Mr O also picked up a single.


So with just 13 points claimed this weekend, I have no hesitation in proclaiming

These meagre scores actuall make quite a difference to the leader board which shows we have joint leaders on 5 points of:

Obviously then it all depends on the final week. What we really need is a Christmas Bonanza of points to give everyone a chance of success. I'll see if I can pull a few strings to get 'Lady Eleanor' to cooperate.
