There's an advert in the sits. vac. section of our local paper today:-

Part or Full Time Dancers Required
(For local nightclub)

Earning £100-£300 per night.
Experience not necessary
Transport arranged if required.

I have done ballet, tap, jazz dance, ceroc and line dancing. Do you think they would set me on?

I'd keep quiet about the Line-Dancing if I was you!
;o)
Was that tap[i or [i]lap]?

Could be crucial to my response
It might interfere with your holidays, Tilly
Have you any Pole Dancing experience Tilly ??
what is the phone number please, I can do morris dancing if the bonnet is not slippery and also tap dancing but not near a sink. ( I keep falling in )

Oh, sibs. Never thought of that. I'm not giving up my holidays. Surely there is a holiday entitlement?

Alice, Tap, as in tap. Not lap!
Question Author
Sir O, no, not Pole dancing, unless you count my little jig at North Cape.
Question Author
£300 per night is a lot of money.
What would Mr tilly say to you pole dancing?
Tilly...it is a lot of money....if I teach you a two hand reel we could both apply....won't need transport...I'll bring the bike...☺
Mr Tillys one the members!
Question Author
It doesn't say 'Pole Dancers', cupid. It just says, 'Dancers'.

Mr Tilly would make some comment about watching me practising or something about the required strength of the pole.
Question Author
OK Gness, we could be a double act. What shall we call ourselves?
Question Author
Alice!
Why not? If you like dancing in clubs, why not get paid for it?
Question Author
Here we go, gness. I think we could manage that together
