It's one of my local pubs, Elina. They have swing jazz several nights a week, and these guys are there quite a lot.

A precursor, but brilliant nonetheless. The whole album is worth owning, as is just about anything by Joe Jackson.

haven't listened to Jackson for years, but did he really take Calloway much further on that track?

He made it more exciting, in exactly the same way Led Zeppelin did with Killing Floor on Lemon Song.

Of course, he didn't pretend he'd actually written it, but that's another story :-)
